After learning how to use CNC machine, I made this pull/push toy with maple. She’s a shy elephant who always hides her eyes under her ears, but whenever she wears her favorite roller skates and has fun, her eyes show up and spark with joy.

When I started to color the toy, I chose the color scheme that looks the most gender-neutral, which signals that it’s not a toy designed for a specific gender. The hide-and-seek element draws kids to play with it more!
